hunts when hot

when engine gets hot revs seem to wander up and down.i have been told it may be the lamba sensor.is this plausible or any other reason?

lambda sensor = oxygen sensor.

More likely a few other things...
dirty throttle body
dirty IACV
dirty FITV
vacuum leak
air pockets in cooling system
incorrectly set 'base' idle rpm
