I posted earlier about loosing both my low beams. Got some great help in that post for which I am grateful. While checking my local NAPA for a price check on a new headlight switch and after getting the details he asks if I checked my bulbs as losing one bulb could cause the other one to go out. In 35 years of driving I have never lost or heard of both bulbs burning out at once. Sure enough both bulbs out. Year and a half use on the Sylvania Ultras. Not going to spend that money again.

x2 on not getting and "special", "brighter" halogen bulbs, in the end they're all still halogen.

 

You are lucky to have them last that long. They seem to burn out a lot faster for many people. Mine died 6 months in and they died withing a couple days of each other.
