Question i need some help with my new buy

my name is Neil, i just bought a 1988 honda accord and im starting to think this was a bad buy...

The reason i say this is because the guy i bought the car from has put 3 screens in the car and also did his own installation of HID lights, but the problems i am having is that i want to disconnect the screens and im really lost with all these wires that are connected to the battery..... i was wondering if anyone knew how i could locate the wires that run to the screen and take them out, i think they are draining the battery i have already replaced the alternator and getting a new battery this weekend...

Also when i drive the car, the needle that shows the speed that im going bounces back and forth and isnt a steady point, does anyone know what this is from? i think it is because the wheels might not be balanced but im not sure.... Thanks guys i appreciate it, i know this could be a great car it just needs some work

If you want to remove the screens, you will likely have to trace the wires from the screen to wherever they were spliced in.

I don't know how the speed signal is generated on your car. It could come from a cable or some speed sensor. I doubt that unbalanced wheels would cause the speedometer to have problems.

The speedometer bouncing around is usually the cable

bad speedo cable... and just disconnect your battery and trace those wires. take your time pulling anything, cover up any exposed wires with atleast quality electric tape if you can't solder them. car fires suck....especially when your driving on the freeway.
