TW sensor is reading proper resistance when cool, but could it malfunction when it is hot?

Could a faulty O2 sensor cause this problem??

Been out of town lately. Here is update: A mehanic had no clue about the problem, but we did ascertain that in the no start condition, the engine is flooded, but would still cough to life briefly when the fuse for the alternator/fuel pump was pulled. When the fuse was reinserted, the engine instantly died.

Also, last night, the check engine light came on reading a code 6 for tw sensor. I will replace it and see if this causes the problem. Likely culprit?

It was the TW sensor. Replaced it and reuns perfectly.

Thanks for the tips.
