IMA battery life
I have a 2005 accord hybrid. It has 108,000 miles and has been maintained well. It is starting to drop in mpg and the IMA indicators are acting wierd.
Have gone from 32 mpg to 27 mpg.
I am wondering if the IMA battery is at the end of its expected life, and if so, what am I looking at $ wise.
Sorry if this is a repeat question, but I am new to the forum and have not found any info on hybrids. GREAT CAR!!

If the car is a PZEV model (CA, NY, ME, VT, MA, CT), the warranty on the IMA battery should be 10 years/150,000 miles.

Retail costs on a replacement IMA battery is around $2,250 - $2,330. Not including installation.

Thanks for the info. I found the site and printed out the the article.
I have gone through all my original papers and didn't find anything to designate the car as AT-PZEV. It was manufactured in Japan and imported to Calif., sold to me in Fla. I will do some more research and let you know how it works out. I sure am finding the thought of a $2300+ repair tab hard to take.

Some Honda's have the PZEV stickers/decals on them, like at the door glass. AT just means it's an automatic transmission.
You can check if it's a PZEV by entering your VIN in an internet Honda dealer site such as Bernardi Honda parts. It may very well be a PZEV if it was originally sold in the California.
