Hi,

Does 95 Accord have OBD or OBDII ? Would an Innova OBBD2 read OBD system's codes (backward compatible)? I got both SRS and ABS light on my car and can get an OBD2 reader, but want to make sure it's going to work before shelling out money... thanks in advance.

 

On a 1995 V6, yes - OBDII. On a 1995 4cyl, no...OBDI

 

Most car places will check your check engine light for free. Such as AutoZone and Advance Auto.

 

you can jump the sc connector under the glove box and read the codes ,, jump the one with 2 wires and NOT the one with 3 wires ,,then just read the codes on the instrument cluster with key on,

 

That is true, IF they have an OBDI scanner for his. The AZ around here only has an OBDII scanner. Call your local parts stores and ask them if they can read the codes for you. Be sure to tell them your car's computer is OBDI.
Or you could always jumper the connector yourself as dh suggested.
