I want to see this "aiming" machine! IMO, $20 isn't all that much, but I still think they're yanking your chain.

Yeah, it's the truth; some states include it in the yearly inspection and there is a machine to check the headlight alignments.

It helps prevent other people from being blinded on 2 lane roads.

Now as far as the charges......you need to get out the flatrate manual, and know the shops hrly flatrate fees

BTW// FWIW I am all in favor of yearly inspections, those states don't have people driving around with no brake lights or turn signals and one headlight.
And in fact every state that has gotten rid of inspections in favor of insurance laws has higher insurance rates.............Makes ya wonder who is reallythe driving force behind dropping inspection laws. Hmmmmmmm?
