Question Installing an auxilary jack in a 2001 accord

My dad has owned a 2001 accord for about 7 years. I would like to play my ipod through the car's speakers, but there is no auxilary jack. I know that I can buy either a cassette adapter or an fm transmitter, but I know that an auxilary jack would give me the best sound quality. After researching the topic this afternoon, I could not find an accord-specific explanation on how I could install a jack in the car myself or if it was even possible. My question is, how do I install an auxilary jack in the dash so that I can play music from my ipod through the stereo system? I would prefer to do it myself because of the cost.

Some specs on the car:
2001 Honda Accord
V6
Factory installed 6 cd player
Factory installed sound system

Thank you very much for whatever help you can give me on this.

Ok, thanks. Is there any way to do it with the existing deck, by rewiring it to have a jack or something?

The aftermarket cd player will have an auxilary jack built in to it. You can wire one into the factory cd player, but it will just be hanging there... Very sloppy...

Crutchfield or other car-stereo places probably have an iPod adapter. I got one for our
2003 Accord. It worked nice but cost about $150.

Ok, I will check around to some car stereo places. Would Best Buy know about this sort of thing also?

Last time I asked there, they said there's so many different cars they can't stock everything so they tried to sell me a whole new stereo.
