Default jumping ABS connector

is it possible to jump the ABS light like it is the CEL. I have a ABS light for what i believe is a wheel speed sensor but i want to make sure before i go replacing things. but since i have a obd1 ecu in a obd2 car i'm dont know if autozone could read what its for with the obd2 port.

For an OBD-1 car, you jump the same SCS connector as if you wanted ECU codes. The ABS lamp flashes instead (or in addition to) the CEL.

Im not sure if/how the ECU talks to the ABS controller. If the SCS connectoris simplywired in parallelto BOTH computers, then youre OK. But if the OBD-1 ECU doesnt know how to talk with the OBD-2 ABS computer, then ????

AutoZone probably could not read ABS errors, even if you still had the OBD-2 ECU.

Got a wiring drawing? Look for a connection between the SCS connector & the ABS controller. Most likely, you didnt maintain that circuit when you did the OBD-1 to OBD-2 harness conversion.

If there is ONLY a data connection between the 2 computers, then youre SOL.
