Hi Guys,

I've new Honda 2013 Coupe V6 Automatic, it has keyless entry, but I notice that I can't lock while the engine is on. In some german cars, I can lock the car and go to buy sth from the market, I use this especially in summer. .... but I can't do it in the New Honda .... is there sth I missed or I should do to activate it?

 

no hondas to my knowledge ever allowed you to lock the power door locks with the engine running. some older ones you could pull the inside door handle and then hit the lock, but that's about it. hope you're not leaving a baby in the car with the a/c on...or worse yet, your dog!

 

Agreed with Dr. D. If you want the engine running with the doors locked, you can add the remote starter as an accessory.
