location of headlight wire?
Hello - I am trying to install my alarm system.
I need to find where the wire is that goes from the headlight switch to the headlight relay.
I would prefer to use the High Beam wire as I have HIDs on the Low Beam side.
What color is this wire and where is the easiest place to tap into it under the dash?
I am wanting to flash my headlights when the alarm is going off.
Thank you so much for your help!

It uses a + output and I pulled the cover off the steering column and did some probing, the Honda uses a - to turn on the highbeam.
The problem I was having is that when I got my car I had the "no - taillights, dashlights, driving lights" problem. I fixed it by running new power to everything that just came on whenever the key is on. ....so anyway I finally tied all that together and tied the alarm into that.
Now the alarm flashes the taillights, front corner lights (and also the dash lights lol)
So all is good. I installed my first (and last) alarm today.

I started typing my response while you were posting yours.
You are quite right, Honda does like to use ground to make things work.
If I read this right....you got it and that is the most important thing.....good luck.
