Does anyone know if a longer oil filter is available for the 2.4L four cylinder engine? There is plenty of room behind the filter for a much longer filter. It would be nice to have more filtering capacity as that Honda filter is very, very small.

If you go to your local AutoZone store and they look up your regular filter and then you ask them to get you a longer one they will do that for you..try it!

If you do that, you have to be careful that the bypass valve (in the filter) operates at the proper pressure. Maybe after they find a longer filter, you can look that up in the filter data book.

A longer filter can doesn't always mean there's more filtering media inside.
