I'm not sure what are you talking about loosing water and you have to replace water every few days ? Is it antifreeze or windshield washer fluid ? Can you be a little more clear please.

If you have condensation on the inside of the windshield, and your defroster isn't working, I suspect you have a heater core leak. Pull up the carpet and see if the floorpans are wet behind the glove box and the pedals...If so, that is why.

Follow bigpat's suggestion. Sounds like a problem with the heater core. Does the inside of the car smell like coolant?

I felt the carpet and i dont think its wet. Sometimes when im driving i smell antifreeze. Hoe much does a heater core cost and is it an easy fix?

The Honda one is expensive. The aftermarket probably range from $50 to $150. You will have to shop around.

I think that you have to remove a lot of stuff on the dash to get to the heater core. I would suggest going to the common diy thread on top of the gen tech help forum. There is a link to online shop manuals. The honda-tech link has a 94 shop manual that will detail the steps to do the repair.

The heater core is small...not much bigger than a paperback book. It acts as a radiator for the interior heater and defroster. I did one on my El Camino years ago, but that was a relatively simple and easily accessable job to complete. The Honda will be quite confined and access may require removal of the glovebox interior, radio and vent contols, or possibly the dashboard. Look for the tech link in the manual to see what you are facing. Before you dive in to the repair, get a qualified shop to assess the situation to verify that it is infact the heater core leaking.
