Lost Keyless Fob for 2015 Honda Accord inside Car
Hi, everyone. We have lost the keyless remote fob inside our Honda. As a result, we can't lock our car, even though we have an extra fob. As you know, Hondas won't lock when key fob is left in the car. We're trying to find it using a magnet, flood light manual search, still nothing. We were not aware of wireless key finders that you can use to tag items, then when you lose them, it pings near the lost item. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to locate our fob? Thanks in advance.

Under the back seat? Hiding alongside the mounting rails for the front seats? Not sure how else to find them except go around the complete interior & pull back the carpeting & stuff like that. How about in the trunk? Down with the spare tire?
This isn't really "off topic" so I'll move it to General Tech where more people are likely to read it.

Looking at the front seat (from the back row), there is a little flap underneath the seat. If something goes through the front seat crack (between butt and back of the seat), this is where it will fall. If I remember correctly, you have to perform a sort of "reach-around" in order to get in it. I had something small drop through the crack, and it took me scouring the car for a few days. I'd imagine it would be hard to get the whole key fob down in there, but anything's possible.
Side note, how the heck did you do this??

Thanks, NMinop. My husband was leaning back resting in his seat as were were in parking lot, & it went through the crack between back & seat. The Honda dealer service team found it in less than 2 minutes. They told us this happens a lot, and a new fob can't be programmed with a new code for the car until the hidden one dies. We didn't know that & we were ready to 'pay the freight' so to speak just to be able to lock our car again. We just needed young eyes and long arms. Dealer had that going for them today.
Thanks, everyone for your great suggestions as you tried to help us.

Agreed, no judgement from me either. I've lost a few sets of keys over the years.
