Rear main seal installation depth?

Default Rear main seal installation depth?
Does anyone know how deep the rear main seal needs to installed on a 2003 Accord, 4cyl, manual?

The Haynes manual states 0.2 to 1.2mm, but is not clear about how to measure that exactly.
