Twice in the past few weeks I have heard a loud popping sound inside my 2001 Accord EX. It sounds exactly like a baloon popping. The first time I heard it I could not find the source and figured a rock or something must have hit the car. But then I heard the same sound again today.

Can there be anything in the car that would cause a loud baloon popping sound? I have looked all over the car for anything I had internally that would cause this but have not been able to find it. Spare tire was OK. Seat air bags do not seemed deployed unless the canister blew with out the bag inflating. It is just really perplexing.
