Minor vibrations at idle
Hello all.
I just had all the tires and brakes replaced on my car and am making sure I get the car tuned into good shape (2004 EX-L V6 Sedan).
Anyway, the one thing that still kind of annoys me is a slight vibration in the steering wheel when the car is in drive (or park) at idle speed (i.e. when stopped at a stop light). My question is, to a certain degree, is this vibration normal? This is the first Honda I have owned and I came from rather nice cars before (2001 Range Rover, 2007 Tahoe, 2005 BMW M3), so I am thinking maybe I am just expecting too much out of the car and for it to be perfect. Also, could it maybe be attributed to the fact that I drive 2 miles each way to/from work everyday and the car never really gets a chance to fully warm up?
Just wanted to get your thoughts. I may take it by the dealer service dept. just to see if they think it is normal or not.
Thanks!

Yeah, it's somewhat normal. Your idle speed may be a little below what it should be, causing more vibrations. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

What is the normal idle RPM? I don't even know where mine is, but I will check it out.
