Charging system is perfect alternator 14.3. And battery rated for 490 cca and its at 470

Don't sweat the part about the codes not resetting.

Beginning in 2003 you can't erase the codes by disconnecting the battery. They began using non-volatile memory for those codes.

They can be cleared with a scan tool, or else they will go away by themselves EVENTUALLY when the problem is fixed.

Just to add to what Jim said. I forget the exact number of cycles but the light will go out after a certain number of drive cycles without the issue. So don't think it will go out "right away" once the issue is fixed.

I dont understand what you guys are talking about? Before i had them redo the system i had engine codes that i tried to erase with my scanner and they wouldnt go away. After they redid i picked my car up and the codes were gone but the traction control light is on which wasnt on before they redid the wires and the engine codes are gone. But in the process they screwed up and now my traction light is on which wasnt on before. Also did this sat and still on
