Default Motor Stuttering/ Sputtering between 1250-1750rpms

So the other night I was out being an idiot with my friends and somehow managed to get my 94 Accord to 110mph, however, immediately after that the motor started stuttering (I guess you'd call it that) whenever I hold the RPMs between 1250 and 1750. If I accelerate through it there's no stutter, if I have the car in Neutral or Park and hold it in that range there's no stutter.

My mechanical knowledge base consists of simply replacing parts (which I've done a lot of on this car...), but a mechanic buddy of mine thinks it might be a fuel problem (likely injectors) and suggested that I run some injector cleaners in my next tank of gas and see if that helps. I'm looking for some extra input though so anything would be appreciated.

Additional Info: My Accord is an EX with DOHC VTEC motor, all stock with 211XXX miles. It's got an oil leak (haven't been able to find it) so my oil is always fresh and I replaced the spark plugs about 3000 miles ago.

First.....NO REASON TO BE GOING THAT FAST ON PUBLIC ROADS......NONE - end of story and if this goes any further I will do what I have to do....Understand, Thanks.

What about the cap and rotor?

Need to find the source of the oil leak......can you at least give us a general location of the leak?

Check the "Common DIY and Info Threads" sticky at the top of this section, read and check out the EGR Port cleaning subject.

I'll go ahead and put this out there - my son was a passenger in a car and some "blank" person SPEEDING killed him. You don't ever want to be a parent and have your doorbell ring, you open it and there are four state troopers on the other side.......and the first words out of their mouth - "Sir, you might want to sit down".

I've gone that speed (and faster) in my non-vtec 94. I wouldn't do it again, I felt like an idiot once I hit the ECU fuel cutoff. That shudder was the most terrifying thing I've experienced due to my own driving, I thought I was about to have a meeting with the lord. PLEASE don't do that.

I did say I was being an idiot and hit that speed, so I very likely wont ever do that again, at least not in city limits. That said I misspoke when I said the stutter/ sputter happened at 110, I was at 3k rpms and fine, it's just that now every time I hold the throttle at around 1250 to 1750 (some times even around 2000) it sputters (think Impact wrench or high caliber machine gun).

As for the location of the oil leak, it's on the driver's side of the motor, above the driver side axle, I've already replaced the valve cover gasket, but that hasn't fixed the issue. I'd replace the oil pan gasket but I'm pretty sure the leak is higher on the motor, and the oil pan is kind of a pain to take off.

As I said, read and think about cleaning the egr ports on the intake.

Can you raise the car - use proper safety, jack stands, wheel chocks, ect. Start the engine and look at the Oil Pressure switch, just above the oil filter. See if you have oil coming out around the "boot" over the switch.

Sorry for "going off" about the speeding but I think you can understand why. People can get killed....not just you or your friends but some "other" person on the road who was doing nothing but minding their business.

On the bright side, the ports on the f22b2 are incredibly easy to access
