My car is starting to sputter if Im accelerating between 1rst and 2nd gear and have the AC on. Ive read elsewhere that this is an issue of the AC drawing power from a part that helps the car shift between gears, but last night when this was happening the check engine light started blinking. What should I be looking into?

 

Check engine light blinking means immediate inspection is needed. Usually means the engine is missing. Missing is most frequently a spark issue; wires, plugs, distributor cap, rotor.

Get the codes from Autozone or elsewhere and report back for further guidance.
