Default Mount light for 99 accord

My mount light isn't working. I went to the part store because I thought the fuse was blown but he told me that I had no connection. I was wondering If anyone knew where I could get the connection for the mount light?

Yes i am talking about the rear break light. The person at the part store says it should be a wire running from where you put the light in to somewhere in the trunk. Yes the car has a spoiler.

WHEN i installed spoilers, since the spoilers also have the brake lites on .. we disconnected the wiring going to the 3rd brake lite assembly,, but i use to tape it or tie strap it , so it would be out of the way......
does the spoiler lite up when you apply the brakes >?>?? the wiring harness for the 3rd brake lite should be there, someone might have rerouted it out of the way... Gee i hope they did not cut it out ..
