Muffler
1995 HONDA ACCORD EX SPECIAL EDITION
V6
4 DOOR SEDAN
I have a small hole in my muffler so I know it is just a matter of time before it needs replacing. Will Midas Muffler do the trick or
is there any reason I should avoid them and just let the dealer do it? I sure Midas wil be less expensive but I want to be sure. Any feedback on ypur experience with Midas?
Thanks.

Here's the skinny; Honda will warranty a 'replacement' muffler forever, as long as you keep the receipt. The midas mufflers are okay to use as replacement, but they will only have about a year warranty. So you pay your money and take your choice.
Good mecjanics are worth their weight in gold, too bad there is a lot of fool's gold out there.
I have found that muffler places are usually ok when the work is straight forward and nothing tricky. Some places also offer lifetime warrantees on their mufflers.
The dealer SHOULD do the job right and stand behind it but it will come with a price.
Is OEM parts ok or do you want genuine Honda parts? Hey, why not just add a catback system a get a little more oomph?
Just my 2 pennies.
