Multiple Codes? Bad Brain?
Personally I feel it's unlikely for the ECU to be bad. It happens, but not all that often.
Sounds like your mechanic might not specialize in Honda. So if you go back to him with tips like "do this one first..." or "check that thing" do you think he'll resent it? Seems like software such as Mitchell would have troubleshooting logic-tree that should be clear to follow when there's multiple codes. LOTS of small-ish shops have subscriptions to that kind of software.

Ok guys. The light came on again. Checked it and this is what is gave me...
P0171 System too Lean (Bank 1)
Also found paperwork from previous owner. Back in 2008 they got...
P0170 Bank 1 Oxygen Sensor and it was replaced.
So what sould I do? There is more than one oxygen sensor correct? Replace? Any help thanks.

Your 4-cyl engine only has 1 bank. The "bank-1" terminology is only there because V-6 engines use that code for bank 1. You do have 2 oxygen sensors, but they're primary (before cat) and secondary (IN the cat).
O2 sensor can read "lean" if one injector is becoming obstructed (dirty). You could try running a bottle of cleaner through the gas tank. I think if it were something like a flaky electrical connection to fire the injector, it would be throwing a misfire code (P0301,2,3,4). But it won't hurt to look for loose plugs on the injectors.
How's your car set for tune-up things like spark plugs?

Ok that clears some things up. Ill do another once onver on it. The spark plugs do need to be changed I looked at em the other day and their kinda burnt a bit, (kinda white,...not enough fuel?)
So should I prob change the o2 censor that hasent been changed?
And I guess just so you know im just wantin to get this fixed so I can sell it, so i'm not nessisarily in cheep'o mode.
But I would like to fix the "right" problem without replacing everything on the car.

No, don't change the sensor yet. Neither P0170 or 171 is specifically for the O2 sensors.
P0170 is kind general & normally appears together with P0171 (lean) or P0172 (rich).
I'd be more inclined to try & figure out why it's reading excess oxygen, rather than jumping to blame the sensor itself. A bottle of Techron in the gas tank might help if the injectors are spraying unevenly (I guess it can't hurt).
Even tho you wanna sell it, diagnosing is better than blindly throwing parts at it.

I hear ya, its just hard for me to diagnose it when thats all it gives me. I've put about a "gallon" (in appropriate doses) of lucas injector cleaner through it lately and as far as I can tell it hasn't helped anything!
