Is my engine and transmission stock? and it that causing problems?
1995 2.2 AT VTEC

I bought this car and there are some clues that it may be a different engine. In addition, there are some issues that need to be addressed.
Symptoms
Slow acceleration
Stalling and sputtering when I floor it, around 50 mph, and it goes into overdrive.
Intermittent code12 (is this a possible cause?)
Clues to maybe a different engine:
Missing FIA solenoid and no hookup for it
Junkyard marks on the intake
Vacuum hoses do not match diagrams
