Default My name's Richard and I was actually hoping YOU could tell me something about my car.

Hey guys, I'm new here and I'm looking for some answers about my car.

I drive an Accord but I'm not sure what kind it is. I've looked all over and I can't seem to get some answers. Here's why I'm confused: my car has a little bit of a clearcoat problem and on the back there is no EX, DX, or LX symbol. Instead it had/has the word "Inspire" on the back. It's on the trunk on the right. It looks like the decal has been painted over so it's hard to see. I looked up all kinds of combinations on google and searched forums and stuff but I can't get any real info on the accord inspire. Does anyone know anything about it?If it helps:
1998
4 cyl V-Tech
power everything
automatic
I bought it from a dealer about a year and a half ago

It is most likely an EX if it is power everything and has vtec.

Naw, doesn't say much of anything on the registration...if you have a 4dr car it says 4 dr SDN..never gives model numbers such as EX, LX or whoevers XXXXX.. nice try tho

Does it have leather? Sunroof? If it has power everything (seats, etc..) it is likely an EX as 19Accord97 said. Post the VIN on here. I can tell you from the VIN# (I work in insurance claims - we have ways of decoding VIN#'s) or if you don't feel comfortable posting the VIN# on here you can PM it to me.

Does it have disc brakes in the back and a moonroof? If so it's an ex. Also, what is v-tech?

Where are you RichardL? Inspire is a name Honda uses outside USA for the USA Accord.Honda may have starteddoing that in 1998. You may have one that's been re-badged by a previous owner?

At any rate, the answer to your question depends on what country the car's from.
