my tail light leaked and got water in the trunk every time i opened it. the wood/carpet insert that is the trunk "floor", it covers the spare and is warped and nasty. i cant find anything on that piece, anyone know where to buy stuff like that, are they all the same size for the 98-02 sedan trunks?

 

Are you talking about the cover for the spare tire?

If so, you should be able to pick that up at a junk yard.

You also should repair the water leak.

 

I took the old cover on my 1991 Accord to the local High School and they cut me one to match out of like 1/4 " plywood that they had laying around in the wood shop..for that I bought them a Keg Of Beer ..Just kidding about the beer..but all they charged me for was the cost of the wood that they had laying around..which If I can remember right was about $3.00..I flipped the shop boys a Fiver and I think they bought a Case of Pepsi...maybe..

nice i like the ideas .. and yea im getting a new taillight today, the leaks from the cracked lens on the left inner taillight. i know that the carpeted trunk bottom has parts that fold on it - the sides and the back are hinged. does someone here know where to buy a template for the trunk "Bottom"?

You are talking about the carpeted piece of wood that covers the spare tire right?

 

yup ... i just replaced the tail light and my brother and i installed a sub, so i was lookingto replace it
