Default Need advice on 99 Accord 4cyl water pump & timing belt replacement

I'll replace the water pump and timing belt for my car. I searched but find nothing about it. The motor will be out of the car, so it should be alot more easy to do it i think. Are there any body doing this before can guide me through
so i don't mess up the new engine ? Appreciate for any help.

The basic procedure has not changed since 1990 to my knowledge, until they replaced timing belt w/ a timing chain, I think in 2003.

The 94-97 Accord Manual can be downloaded from Online Manuals links in DIY forum. Check the DIY posts for TB posts. These should be close enough. Autozone has onlne repair manuals available. A hard copy manual from helminc.com would be a worthwhile investment. I've never regretted any of the manauls I've purchased.

good luck

There is also a video on ericthecarguy.com for sale that covers the 94-97 accord. It is ~$10. It is an excellent video and well worth the money. It should be pretty similar to your car.

getting the crank bolt off could be difficult with the motor out of the car.

The crank pulley bolt ? I got it off with an air gun, and the pulley just slides right out.
