Need advice on clutch hose fitting

I'm preparing to replace a leaky clutch hose on my 94 Accord. The new hose has a female threaded fitting with a semicircular flange on one end. It is not obvious to me how this is to be tightened in place, since the flange does not look like a wrench would fit on it. How is this hose supposed to be tightend in place? Will it become obvious as I take the old hose off? And should I use teflon tape or some sealant on the threads? I would appreciate advice from anyone who has dealt with such a fitting, since I have not yet found the details in any manual nor on any online advice. Thanks, Kevin

The picture doesn't really help me understand it either...
You're replacing the #15 hose? Looks like it fits into the bracket with a clip #27. Then the flared steel tube #14 fits into the hose?

This would be better in General Tech, so I'll move it.
