Someone else may have a better method, but what what I've seen, on the Hitachi distributor one of the three mounting holes is round, indication no rotational adjustment. The other distributors have three slotted holes allowing adjustment.

You could also post a picture or 2 of your distributor.

Hi,

Here a pic of the distributor ...
Yes Yes, a lot of oil under it, that's why I need to known which model it is to get the Oring !

Do you think there is a internal leak too ???

I'd start with the o-ring......clean the area and see what you have from there.

What does the inside - under the cap - look like?

This looks like the non-Hitachi distributor ... Hitachi does not have the sideways spark wire plug.

So, you should be able to replace the internal shaft seal if it is leaking. pull the cap off to see if there is oil leaking through the shaft inside the housing. If so, replace the shaft seal. Should cost you around $6. I have one I bought a while ago before I realized I have the Hitachi ... if you want it let me know and I'll send you a pic with part # to confirm.

Either way, as poorman212 says, replace the O-ring.

That is weird the EX has a F22B2 motor. A quick way to tell the difference between the TEC and Hitachi is that the TEC has five spark plug wires coming out of the cap (one goes to the coil). The Hitachi has four spark plug wires coming off the cap (the coil is under the dist. cap).
