When a CV joint goes bad, there is usually a clicking sound when you make a turn.
Take a look at the outer boot to see if it is torn. There will be grease everywhere.
There is a good video on YouTube. Just search ericthecarguy cv joint to how to replace.
TexasHonda is another moderator on here and mentioned that raxles make good CV joints. Some of the remanufactured ones can cause the car to vibrate or may fail prematurely. They will be more expensive than the remanufactured ones though.

R.weed93 there are in fact 3 obvious signs to tell if ur axle is bad,1-look to see if ur cv boot is torn as PAhonda mentioned,2-the clicking sound u hear as u make a turn,3-while u r driving u will hear a deep humming sound coming from the front end an will get a bit louder the faster u drive.those are 3 tall tail signs that ur axle is bad,an if u find out ur axle is bad an u will replace it urself do urself a favor an go to autozone spend $25 an buy the Haynes Repair Manual for ur car it will give u step by step instructions on how to do what ever it may be that u need to do on ur car, looking at a video is ok for some people but me personally id rather read to get the knowledge!get the manual you'll thank me later.lol good luck!

Step 3 in the previous post would point more towards a bad wheel bearing.
Getting shop manual is a good idea. Open the common diy thread on top of the gen tech help forum, then open the link to online shop manuals. That thread has links to sites that have a 94 Honda shop manual that you can download as a pdf.
