Default New distributor installation

The coolant hose coming from the engine under my distributor had the typical blowout failure a few weeks ago. I replaced the hose and tried adding AT-205 Re-seal to the engine oil to see if it would make the internal seal in the distributor stop leaking (the o-ring on the seal between the engine and the distributor was also replaced) but it didn't. After a few days, I found an oil drip on the new hose. So, after considering multiple options and taking the advice of Scotty Kilmer, I bought a new distributor for $114, including shipping, from 1Aauto. I installed it today and it worked like a dream. I made a video but it won't attach (too big?). I was alone without a camera stand, using my iPhone, so I didn't capture everything but hopefully it is helpful. If nothing else you know that the cheap distributor from 1Aauto actually worked. I did this all today. I'll give a more long-term update on the performance later.
