New to forum: need help!
Hello all!
I am new to this forum, and I need help already!
I have a 93 Accord SE coupe. I have noticed that the windows winds up ok, but does not fit into the channel in the door, so that they project outwards when they are fully up. So there is a 1/2" gap between the glass and the frame.
At the top of the glass there is a hole that should apparently fit a **** which fits into a runner groove in the door that should hold the window flush with the door. This is missing.
What is the name of this part, and where can i get one?
Thanks in advance for the help!

I'm not sure the right name of the part, but you could try searching ebay for a window guide or something like that. I would even try a junk yard too. If all else fails go to the dealership and they'll be able to get you the part, but you will pay a lot for it probably.

Your window guide is probably stuck up in the runner and blocking the window from going all the way up in the frame. You can probably take a screw driver and poke up in the corner and feel it while the window is down. Use a smaller screwdriver and you can feel it a little bit better. Is it only that window or all windows? Does the window motor bog when you are rolling it up or are there any other existing minor problems with the window? Has the window ever been replaced before? Let me know maybe I can be of further assistance.
