new here and need some help
hi all,
i got a 2000 honda accord v6 ex.
recently my a/c died. now it only work on the highest setting. i read a lot forum regarding this and most likely it is the blower motor resistor that is blown. i took out the resistor and see the small circuit, unable to find any burnt marks.
this is the picture, unfortunately i did not take any pictures on the circuit board. is there any place where i could bring to for a free check whether what is causing my a/c to work only on the highest setting?
does a free a/c check include this ? or a full vehicle inspection include this ? pls advise.

You mean the blower inside of the car works at the highest setting?
It sounds like the resistor is the problem.
If you have a volt meter, you can test it. Just set the meter to resistance, or use the continuity (open/closed circuit). The resistance should not be infinity between any combination of the pins on the resistor. If you use the continuity setting then every combination between the pins should read a closed circuit.

thanks. also i got one more question. sorry for the trouble.
comparing my honda accord and other cars i drove before, the accelerator pedal of honda accord is a bit stiffer than others. what is the reason ? no other symptons other than pedal a bit stiff.
is it the adjustment of the pedal or throttle body too much carbon?

I believe T.H. Is correct on this..I would replace it..I find that most all problems like this have to do with the resister replacement..
