New to me '93
I just bought a '93 Accord sedan for my daughter to drive when she gets back from college. It needs a few things, but I have plenty of time. Anyway, I have had many Accords over the years, but this is the first Automatic Trans. I was planning on changing the fluid in it, but is there anything else I should do to the trans? Does it have a filter or screen? It has about 157k miles and shifts fine. Should I put on an aftermarket trans cooler? I'm hoping all the experts here will get me on the right track. Thanks.

I would do a drain and refill using Honda ATF. It will take about 3 qts. On the last quart, add until the dipstick reads the proper level. You don't want to overfill. If you look in the owner's manual, the recommended ATF may be dextron, which you can use as well.
There is no filter on the AT. The transmission should already have a cooler that is part of the radiator.
