Just purchased my first Honda 1989 Honda Accord 2.0 carb. Auto trans I belive DX ( nothing special ). I haven't got to far into it other than listening to it run it is rough idel and the previous owner said they cleaned a lot of rust out of the tank, but never replaced the inline fuel filter. So the first thing in going to do is replace that and do a tune-up. I'm thinking of maybe cleaning the carb. Any other suggestions?

There are two filters on this car....one under the hood by the brake booster. The other is in the back - remove the drivers rear tire and it is held to the under side of the body by two screws, remove those and the "cage" the filter sits in will lower letting you change it.

Does it have power windows or "crank" windows - that will answer the DX vs LX question for me.
