Default 92 Accord Lx 2.2 Fuel leak

I replaced the Fuel Filter and gas is spraying out of the feed line. I removed it and installed it 3 times. I can move the line in and out about a 1/4 in. and the nut is all the way tightened. Fuel line does not seem bent and nut is not cross threaded. What am I doing wrong?

The Flare looks ok. Why is the fuel line moving? Should tighten with the bolt right?

Suggest re-installing old fuel filter and see if leak is fixed. If yes, you may have a mis-machined fuel filter where flare of tubing seats. Fuel filter is something easy to do on this model, so gets frequently done but filter rarely causes a problem. You might just live w/ old filter if leak stops.

Fuel filter is practically non-serviceable on 94-97 Accords (my 94EX is original at 247K miles and almost 20 yrs service), and service is not a routine maintenance requirement.

good luck

Default 92 Accord Lx 2.2 Fuel Leak *UPDATE*

I did re-install the old filter and it stopped leaking! I had purchased an after market FF, there was a lip at the end where the Nut/bolt was stopping, causing the issue. OEM is the way to go....Lesson learned. Thanks everyone.
