Default New Timing Belt?

So my 97 LX runs fine and dandy, but whenever I hit the gas in the lower rpms of each gear I'll hear a little buzz sort of sound that happens at 15mph in 2nd, 30 in 3rd, and 40 in 4th. Its not like a loud grinding or anything, i can barely hear it over my intake, but it only happens at those exact numbers. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

John

chk the exhaust heat shields .. also there is a bulletin for the 94-95 accords but the design is the same as your car ,,buzz at 1800 rpm ,, reccomend to replace the mid pipe gaskets, bolts, nuts

bulletin # 04-041

Now i do not know if that's the kind of noise that you are experiencing , the hardest thing to do over the net is try to determine a noise the other person hears,, we all interpret noises differently,,

I had similar sound when the speed was just a bit too slow for the gear so engine was slightly overloaded under acceleration so there was this metallic buzz sound for a brief second, it turned out to be a cat. converter shield, so the Honda dealer (I was there for a recall anyway) put a metal clamp around it for free (WoW). That solved the problem. A friend at work asked me of same sound on his civic, and what do you know, the cat. conv. shield was loose. The bolts rust through and crumble off so one side is attached and the other end is loose, when engine vibrates it shakes the exhaust system too, and you end up with an annoying sound. But now if you guys remember from my other thread I got, what seems to be a cat. converter going out (engine light: P0420 code) could it be related to the easy fix? probably not.

if there was just a clamp put on to hold the sheild on I doubt it would cause that.... does it sound like your exhaust is leaking though? Has the rust finally eaten a hole into the exhaust pipe and thus causing the code?

No it doesn't sound like there is an exhaust leak, the exhaust leak would be pretty loud, correct? The car is quiet.
