Default New (used) tires, now pulling left

Had them mounted and balanced. Pulling left, now. Holding it straight, let go, the wheel immediately ***** left about a half of an inch (the wheel doesn't move very far, but it's very immediate) and then the car starts wandering to the left.

On the old tires it ran straight 99.9%

So should I blame the guys who mounted the tires, or is it out of alignment.. what ?

Thanks

You can swap the tires to different wheels and perhaps improve performance. I've seen similar on new tires. Perhaps bring back tires to front will help. After wearing on rear, the problem may be less severe when you rotate back tires to front again.

You can confirm tires are the problem by swapping front wheel positions. If drift goes right, tires are confirmed.

There is no adjustment on camber which most affects lateral pull so alignment issues are not likely the problem.

good luck

Used tires might be worn funny causing the pull. Swap em around to see??

Yeah I was thinking I would just switch them to the back, one of the new used ones is more worn on the one edge than across the rest of it.. It's just funny how the wheel so quickly ***** itself to the left, just that little bit, and then the car starts wandering to the left.

I've never seen anything like that before!! So long as they've not got arrows on the sidewalls, they are not directional and I can put them on whatever wheel I want to... right? And a tire being out of balance would cause something completely different, I would think? So it's not the fault of the guy who put them on .. ?

No arrows on the side means they are not directional. But that is just about the tread pattern being directional or not.

If they're already worn down on an angle, that's a different thing altogether.
