What code/s were reported? Be specific.

Was code P0401 set? Was random misfire code P0300 reported?

EGR problems are usually not the EGR valve fault, but rather blockages in the path/s from EGR valve to intake manifold. Please check DIY Forum for a DIY for your generation Accord. I think you need to remove throttle body to access port for cleaning.

good luck

Those are both misfire codes.

Did you replace the entire distributor? If so, why?

What spark plugs did you use?
