my check engine light came on and i plugged a code reader up to it and got a 1399 code along with a misfire error.

 

Hi Member..I just looked up that code in my books and for some reason that code does not come up at all. Are you sure that was the code?
IS your car misfireing ?
IS it stalling?
IS it surging when you hold your gas pedal steady?

Give us more symptoms tp go by..and Also Please use our Search Button to find answers on most questions like this..hundreds of pages are in the forum on the same questions...

 

P1399 doesn't show up on my list either, & my list came from a 1998 Helm book.

 

And mine came from the 1998 thru 2002 Haynes book.
