Default No interior lights maybe combination switch?

Hi, a few days ago I was driving my car and suddenly lights in the dashboard went off for like 1 second, it did not happened again so I forgot about, yesterday I turned on the car in the night, turned on the lights but no lights in the dashboard and no exterior lights either. Checked fuse box under the hood and fuse for "Small Light" was bad, so I replaced it. Tried again no lights still but smoke started coming out of under the dash, removed the cover and realized RED/BLK cable that is for the ignition switch all burned up and was stick to other cables, I separated the cables and covered them again, specially the RED/BLK but still if I connect the cable it gets extremely hot and starts melting the tape, after this, I connected the cable from where it has no damage and jumped it to the ignition switch directly but still no lights, any advise?

Ignition switch may have internal short on red/blk. Suggest removing and inspecting/replacing the ignition switch.

good luck
