Default Noise in the engine

Hey,

I have a 1996 Honda Accord EX. 4 cyl. 208,000 miles. New transmission put in at 175,000. AT fluid is OK. Oil is OK. Belts all seem to be running.

But now there is this loud whooshing noise that is happening.

I love this car and want to keep it going.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Get yourself a Mechanics Stethoscope from like AutoZone or Nappa and listen to the engine to figure out where the noise is really coming from..

Let me try this way. Could something have seized up that is attached to a belt? I see 2 belts running in the engine. There is something that looks like a belt that is not moving below the other 2 belts.
