Default noise from rear of car

I've got a 2009 Accord 4 cylinder that has just started making a noise that sounds like it is in the trunk (when sitting in the driver's seat). The sound is exactly like the noise a treadmill makes when you push the button to incline the machine. The noise seems to start when the car is moving at 20-25 mph. Has anyone got any idea what this might be and what is involved to fix it?

Thanks.

I've moved this to General Tech.

Noises over the internet are always fun.

At a guess, two things come to mind. Check the rear brake pads to see if they are worn and the wear indicator is rubbing the rotor? Second, some around this gen Accord had an issue with a rub/rattle in the rear "shelf", a clip or something comes loose.
