I have a 91 Accord ex, the S light on the dash keeps blinking and the code comes back console sensor, does anyone have any idea where is this sensor located and is this a common problem.

 

How exactly does it come back "console sensor"? I've never heard of that code?
What exactly did you do? Jumper the SCS connector and tell us the code - or describe the sequence of flashing S-lamp.

 

 

Thanks for eveyone's help. It was the shift silenoids ontop of the transmission, they were bad and the ones I replace them with from ebay were also bad. Bought new ones from dealer, everything works fine...Still shifts hards but shifts.
