oil chage
hello guys i need a recomendation on what type of oil can i use my honda accord 2004 its hitting 150xxxx miles and 2 days ago i been hearing more noise on the engine than the normal i thought that i may could use a dicker oil but i dont really wanna brake the engine i been using castrol edge with titanium 5-20.. help me out thanks

1st would be to check/top off the oil level.
tell us how often you change oil, how you drive (hi rpm vs. cruising round town)
and if you can ID the noise location (long screwdriver to the ear works).
describe and record the noise via your camera and post it.
Changing oil viscosity to head off an imagined mechanical problem has been a useless exercise in my experience,
and I've tried it, as has everyone; so you should try it too - it's one of life's experiences.
I bet Castrol sells a high mileage 5w-20 that could be comfy oil choice for you.
