Default Oil Change after Techron use?

Hi All,

I plan to use Techron Concentrate in my next fill-up. I remember hearing one should then change theengine oil after the second tank of gas. Is this true? why?... is it because somewhat the fuel/additive gets into the oil?

... thanks in advance.

I don't always do it. I think the reasoning is that the Techron is more likely to wet the cylinder walls & from there get into the oil. I bet most of it burns up, but I haven't done any oil analysis to prove that.

Even if it is true, may be you can plan to pour in the Techron couple of gas-fills before your next oil change.
