Default crank angle sensor

Having trouble with crank angle sensor [I think !] but cannot locate diagnostic plug-in to check fault codes. Any ideas ? Also having great difficulty tracking down a Haynes manual - all www's seem to be American.
Car 1995/6 2 litre Accord.
Howway the lads ! as we tend to say in my neck of the woods.

look around the area of the top of the passengerside kick panel/under glove box.
You should find a BLUE 2 pin connector, not connected to anything.
Jumper that connector with a small paper clip, turn on the ignition and count the CEL flashes.
if the car is 96 you might have an OBD2 connector behind the ash tray/ center console.

Many thanks and felicitations, Hondadude. Sounds like Accord is similar to Civic then. So presume fault codes will be the same.

Followed up your suggestions on diagnostic plug location and also down-loaded a manual following directions in HAF.
Now think problem not in the actual sensor but in the wiring because the fault comes and goes following no particular pattern except for one. The first start of the day is always good.

It could be a wiring fault, but unless someone has hacked about in the wiring, this is less likely than a faulty, intermittent sensor, IMV. No way to know except to replace the sensor and see. If you have patience, you can check the wiring also.

good luck
