oil coming from the air breather?
What could cause oil to come out the a air breather filter? First they is smoke then after driving there is oil on the valve cover, not a lot but enough it wipe up with a napkin. If i'm not mistakin it suppose to be suckin not blowing. Does it have anything to do with the pcv valve? Does "pcv" stand for Postive Crankcase Vacuum?

You better hiope is the PCV valve, otherwise is known as "Piston Rings Blowout". Compression is leaking thru the Pistong Rings pushing the oil up to crankcase. This is bad news. Rebuild engine if Engine Restore oil treatmernt dont do the trick after a few hundred miles. Its sold in Advance and Auto Zone auto parts.

youve been having a couple problems with that car huh? hope you get it figured out.
its common to have stuff blow out of the pcv valve it vents toxic gasses out of the crankcase and sends them back through the combustion cycle to clean them up a little. that why on many high performance cars they have a "oil catch can" which catches the oil that is pushed out so it doesnt end up in the intake tract..

It sucks if it not one thing it's another. I fix one thing then something else pops up. Well I'm just going to drive it until some thing real bad happens. I tried out it being in the shop.[sm=forgetit.gif]
