Hello everyone I have a 97 accord ex 2.2L v-tech I have a bad oil leak coming from my distr. I replaced the o ring on it, I changed the seals on the manifold, anybody else have this problem and had a way to fix it. Also I have a egr any special tool to get to those two out of the way bolts.

 

Oil leak - is it coming from "around" the dist or from inside? Could be the internal seals in the dist....oil inside the cap?

A 97 4cyl......unless you have an egr that will not hold vac, or done ALL OF THE TESTS to verify the lift sensor is bad.....I'd clean the egr PORTS first.

One of the nuts on the egr is at an odd angle. Suggest a 6 point swivel socket for it......a normal six point on the other will work. Notice the "six point" reference for both....IMO, do not try to use a 12 point socket on either.
