Oil leak honda accord 1994 ex
#11
No oil will leak out once you pull out the old switch. However I did remove my oil filter for easy removal. Also there was a black heat shield over the switch. This basically just fell apart on my car, due to the heat.
Used a deep well socket, 1/2 inch drive to remove the old switch. Picked a new one up at Honda for 26.00. Use a light coat of PST thread sealer on the threads and install, but not super tight.
also wrapped the new switch end and wires with good electrical tape. now good to go, no more leaks!

how much
How much oil will come out? More than half a quart? Just needing to know, I'm going to be doing a timing belt, water pump, and balcing belt, and timing belt cover change here in a few weeks. I had a so called "mechanic" do it but he didn't put the cover on right, and forgot some screws, have the belts on to tight and etc etc etc. So the belts and, pullys are cutting into the cover, and I was able to get some screws in on the bottom cover but.... the top cover where the screws go in on the back is cracked in half. So I have to replace that. I have learned that I will never, ever, let someone touch my car again.

Fyi, there appear to be two different types of oil pressure senders, $10 and $60, the visual difference being the wiring connector. For all but 94-95 EX you get the cheaper one, and for 94-95 EX the more expensive one ... ouch!
(I'm guessing you picked up the cheaper one from the dealership for their marked up price).
